Blue Ridge Country Club
Voted the best private club in the Central Pennsylvania area by a 2004 Patriot News reader's poll, the par 72, 6880 yard Blue Ridge golf course is located in a picture book setting at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Originally opened in 1932, Blue Ridge Country Club became private in 1937. The classic style course features lush tree lined fairways and fast greens. Throughout the years the club has hosted numerous Pennsylvania State Golf Association, USGA, and professional events.
Blue Ridge Country Club offers access to all members at all times. The course is easy to walk and offers five sets of tees for golfers to choose from. Peter A. Micklewright, the area's only PGA MAster Professional and his golf staff offer numerous golf functions, lessons, and events to men, women, seniors and juniors. The state-of-the-art watering and newly renovated drainage systems keep course conditions consistently excellent.
