Hickory Valley Golf Club (Ambassador)

The Ambassador Course was built in 1968 as part of the original 27 holes here at Hickory Valley. Although not as long as its counterpart the Presidential, the 3 1/2 star rated Ambassador should not be taken lightly.

Although somewhat shorter in length it makes up for it in maturity. Plush conditions throughout and some holes weaving through massive 30 foot tall trees. Here you will find a course fun for all ages and abilities.

The Ambassador Course at Hickory Valley consists of 18 of the original 27 holes. Situated on just over 140, acres it features the classic architecture of the 1960's. Greens slope gently from back to front, but don't be fooled by the lack of undulations. Fairways are very tight, ranging from 18 to 25 yards wide. Course length seems benign on the scorecard, a mere 6,000 yards from the Men's tees and only 6,450 from the Championship version, but the Ambassador presents his diplomacy on the 610 yard par five 9th hole.
